We are looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This home-based role involves traveling across the UK to deliver expert calibration, installation, and repair services for industrial weighing and measurement systems.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will use your technical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot process weighing systems, as well as support advanced calibration disciplines such as temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and magnet strength.
What You’ll Do as a Field Service Engineer:
- Calibrate, commission, and troubleshoot weighing systems using F1/M1 test weights, flow meters, and force rigs
- Install and commission belt weighers and boiler leak detection systems
- Calibrate instruments for temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and magnet strength
- Perform off-site repairs at our HQ
- Complete service reports and calibration certificates
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies
- Travel across the UK and provide weekend cover (1 in 3 Saturdays)
What We’re Looking for in a Field Service Engineer:
- ONC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC preferred)
- Time-served engineer or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong service/calibration background for process weighing equipment
- Excellent fault-finding and electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Valid UK driving license
